South Korean Students Protest Dissolution of UPP

Pyongyang, January 1 (KCNA) -- Students of nine universities including Sungkyunkwan University, Hanyang University and Kangwon National University of south Korea made public a joint statement on Dec. 29 last year in denunciation of the puppet constitutional court's decision on dissolving the Unified Progressive Party (UPP), according to KBS of south Korea.

The "constitutional court" made a decision in an unusually short period even though huge amount of documents was needed to be examined, and did not go through the due legal procedures, they disclosed.

They termed the decision a violation of democracy.
