Peruvian Political Parties Accuse S. Korean Regime of Forcibly Disbanding Progressive Party
|
|
Pyongyang, January 2 (KCNA) -- Peruvian political parties vehemently denounced fascist politically-motivated terrorism of the south Korean authorities. The Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru noted in a statement on Dec. 26: The present south Korean authorities undesirous of democracy, independence and reunification took issue with the Unified Progressive Party over its programme and activities and suppressed it. At last they prodded the "constitutional court" into forcibly dissolving the party. The Revolutionary Socialist Party of Peru, as a political party aspiring after democracy, sovereignty, progress and prosperity, resolutely denounce the south Korean authorities' action as fascist politically-motivated terrorism. The Peruvian National Independent Movement for Free Voting's Union noted in a statement on the same day: The outrageous act of forcibly disbanding a legitimate political party is politically-motivated terrorism that even regimes of capitalist countries dare not do. What merits a serious attention is the fact that the south Korean authorities openly asserted the party was forcibly disbanded because it represented forces "following the north" and its leading members are "spies of the north." We urge the south Korean authorities to immediately stop its fascist violence and politically-motivated terrorism against all Koreans desirous of social democracy and the reunification of the country. |
