Officials of Ministries, National Institutions and Other Units Visit Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage

Pyongyang, January 3 (KCNA) -- Service personnel of the Korean People's Army (KPA) and officials of ministries, national institutions and units at all levels and people from all walks of life in Pyongyang visited the Pyongyang Baby Home and Orphanage to spend the New Year's Day together with children.

Servicepersons of the KPA and members of the Ministry of People's Security gave a lot of foodstuff including honey and meat and living necessities to the children.

The children of the baby home and orphanage enjoyed the holiday with officials of the party and power bodies and working people's organizations in the city including the Pyongyang City Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the Pyongyang City People's Committee, the Ministry of Public Health, Kyonghung Guidance Bureau and the Central Committee of the Journalists Union of Korea and other people.

The visitors gave a variety of toys and new clothes to the children.

Officials of the Education Commission and Pyongyang Han Tok Su University of Light Industry and its students also visited the baby home and orphanage and gave them confectionery and school things, spending the holiday.
