The work, published on Jan. 3, Juche 81 (1992), indicates that the historical lesson in building socialism is to steadily consolidate the driving force of the revolution with conviction in socialism and proper guiding idea, preserve socialist principle and boost comradely unity and cooperation based on independence.

It deals with the idea that it is the general line of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) for building socialism to thoroughly implement the three revolutions- ideological, technical and cultural- while strengthening people's power and steadily increasing its function and role and it also proves the vitality of the idea.

The past two decades were the days when the advantages and invincibility of Korean-style socialism were clearly proved for the scientific accuracy and truth of the idea and theory indicated in the work, the article says, and goes on:

It is the steadfast will of the WPK to carry forward and accomplish the socialist cause of Juche started and led by great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

The Songun revolutionary feats performed by Kim Jong Il have been successfully carried forward and developed, and the DPRK has demonstrated its might as an invincible military power under the guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.

The dignity and might of the great Paektusan nation have been fully demonstrated to the whole world thanks to the Songun revolutionary leadership of Kim Jong Un who is bringing about one victory after another in fierce confrontation with the U.S. and in the struggle for defending socialism with his matchless grit and pluck, outstanding military strategy and rare commanding art.

All service personnel and people of the DPRK are strong in their spirit to further consolidate the victory they achieved in building a thriving socialist nation and push ahead with the general advance for this year under the guidance of the WPK.
