Japanese Government Urged to Make Official Apology and Legal Reparation

Pyongyang, January 3 (KCNA) -- The Council for the Solution of the Issue of the Volunteers Corps in south Korea held the 1159th Wednesday meeting outside the Japanese embassy in Seoul on Dec. 31 last year, according to the south Korean KBS.

The organization said that victims of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army passed away without having their grudge vented against those who committed the crimes of sexual slavery.

Wednesday meetings of victims and members of civic and public organizations are going on to denounce the thrice-cursed sexual violence committed by the Japanese imperialists and call upon the Japanese government to make an apology and reparation for its past wrongdoings, it noted.

It demanded Japan make an apology and legal reparation to victims living in Japan.
