She was born in Unchon County, South Hwanghae Province on Jan. 5, Juche 4 (1915) and experienced the bitter sorrow over national ruin, subject to maltreatment and contempt under the Japanese imperialists' military occupation of Korea.

It was not until President Kim Il Sung liberated the country that she enjoyed a worthwhile life. She devoted herself to farming for the grateful country.

She leads an optimistic life, having a balanced diet and liking to eat vegetables very much.

She told her children to work harder for the country, saying all people on this land enjoy happiness thanks to the grateful socialist homeland which values and loves ordinary people very much.
