It was attended by Ho Jong Man, chairman of the Central Standing Committee of Chongryon, vice-chairpersons of its Central Standing Committee, the chairman of the Central Audit Committee of Chongryon, the directors of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee, the permanent advisor and the director of the Research Institute on History of Korean Residents in Japan, leading officials of organizations and enterprises of Chongryon, and chairpersons of the Chongryon headquarters and branches in the Kanto area.

The participants heard the New Year address made by Kim Jong Un on the occasion of the New Year, Juche 104 (2015).

The congratulatory message sent by Kim Jong Un to the chairman of the Chongryon Central Standing Committee on the occasion of the New Year was read out at the meeting.

The participants said that they were greatly excited to receive Kim Jong Un's historic New Year address, important guidelines guaranteeing the eternal victory and prosperity of the great Paektusan nation, and his congratulatory message on the New Year.

They stressed that Chongryon and Koreans in Japan would keep pace with the people in the homeland advancing full of confidence of victory and open a new heyday of the movement of Koreans in Japan, getting united firm with them in one mind, in hearty response to Kim Jong Un's New Year address and congratulatory message.
