They underlined the need to decisively increase the production of coal and electricity, turn the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex into the Juche iron production base and kindle the fierce flames of creating the Korean speed to build Ryesonggang Youth Power Stations Nos. 3 and 5, Jongbangsan Hotel, etc. into monumental edifices.

They stressed the need to overfulfil the grain and vegetable production plans unconditionally, put the production at stock-breeding and fish breeding bases, greenhouses and mushroom production bases on a regular footing and thus ensure that the people benefit from them.

They noted they would drastically bolster up the fishing industry to land a huge haul and put production at the light-industry factories on normal track.
