They prepared at least 13 500 farm materials of more than 10 kinds and over 2 000 tons of quality compost in a short span of time.

They left Kim Il Sung Square for Wollo Vegetable Farm in Mangyongdae District, Jangchon Vegetable Co-op Farm in Sadong District and Ryuhyon Vegetable Co-op Farm in Ryokpho District.

Officials of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry, the Ministry of Coal Industry, the Mansudae Art Studio, the Taesong Guidance Bureau, Ryongaksan Guidance Bureau, the Taegyong Guidance Bureau, the Foreign Languages Publishing House and other units gave helping hands to the agricultural workers of the Wollo Vegetable Farm.

Officials of the State Planning Commission, the Ministry of Railways, the Ministry of Fisheries, the Ministry of Light Industry, the Central Committee of the Journalists Union of Korea, the Taesong Bank, the Art and Literature Publishing House and various other units conducted political work among agricultural workers of the Jangchon Vegetable Co-op Farm and helped them in unloading and spreading compost.

Officials of many units including the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly, the Education Commission, the Ministry of External Economic Relations, the Revolutionary Relics Administration Guidance Bureau, the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and the External Construction Guidance Bureau also did Friday labor in fields of the Ryuhyon Vegetable Co-op Farm.
