As part of the preparations, different methods of planting trees in summer have been completed to be applied on a large scale.

In this regard, Son Kwang Chol, manager of the Central Tree Nursery under the Ministry of Land and Environment Protection, told KCNA:

True to the behests of leader Kim Jong Il on planting trees in all seasons, the nursery has tapped several methods of planting trees in summer.

Those methods will reduce the cost of cultivating saplings, while foresting mountains in a relatively short span of time.

The nursery will make every effort to invent new tree-planting methods and increase species of saplings so as to contribute to turning the whole country into a thick woodland and greenery, in hearty response to the Party's call for turning out in the campaign to restore the mountains of the country.
