Vasile Orleanu, chairman of the Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania, said this in a statement on Jan. 5.

He went on:

The U.S. should desist from pursuing the anachronistic policy hostile to the DPRK and withdraw all its forces of aggression from south Korea as soon as possible to ensure peace and security on the Korean peninsula and boldly make a policy switch to replace the armistice agreement by a peace one.

The south Korean authorities should roll back its sycophantic and traitorous policy of confrontation with the compatriots in the north, stop all forms of war exercises against them and positively respond to the DPRK's proposals for prosperity common to the nation.

The Supreme Council of the Socialist Party of Romania will wage a more dynamic movement for solidarity with the Korean people in their just struggle for building a thriving socialist nation and reunifying the country.

The Korean people will foil the imperialist allied forces' frantic provocations against the DPRK and win the final victory under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un.
