What she said about the south-north relations in her New Year press conference greatly disappointed everybody, the editorial said, and went on:

She failed to go beyond the existing framework though there is an increasing need to advance the south-north relations. She just gave lip-service to the word "dialogue," missing a good opportunity to convey her will to the north.

She and the "government" should make a policy decision in order to mend the south-north relations.
