Iranian FM Opposes Outsiders' Interference in Korean Peninsula Issue

| Tehran, January 15 (KCNA) -- Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met the DPRK ambassador to his country on Jan. 12 at which he said that Iran was standing against foreign forces' interference in the issues of the north and the south of Korea. He welcomed the proposal for inter-Korean dialogue made by supreme leader of the DPRK Kim Jong Un in his New Year address. The Korean peninsula issue should be settled through dialogue in a peaceful way, neither by use of armed forces nor by military options, he stressed. |
