Bird Flu Spreads in South Korea

| Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- Bird flu occurred in Ryoju, Kyonggi Province, according to south Korean KBS. The examination of chickens from January 12 to 14 confirmed that they were infected with bird flu. It was reported by south Korean CBS that bird flu broke out on a farm of Kangso District, Pusan City on Jan. 12, leaving chickens and wild geese dead en masse. Meanwhile, bird flu virus was discovered from migratory birds caught in Cheonan, South Chungchong Province on Jan. 11. |
