The performance began with narration and mixed chorus "Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League's Song" and "March of Korean Youth".

The performers sang high praises of the undying exploits President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il performed by consistently pursuing the politics of attaching importance to and loving young people and setting a fine example in settling the issue of young people in the whole course of their revolutionary leadership.

Among the audience were Choe Ryong Hae, secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, officials of the youth league, students and young people.
