Among the art troupes are Phibada Opera Troupe, National Theatrical Troupe, Orchestra of the Yun I Sang Music Institute, National Folk Art Troupe and National Circus.

Their artistes are now active at East Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant, Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex, Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Textile Mill, Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex and other industrial establishments to give strength and courage to the working people through art performances of various forms.

A number of art squads, too, are taking active part in the agitation activities for increased production in various economic sectors. They include art squads from the Ministry of Railways and the central committees of the General Federation of Trade Unions, the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League and the Democratic Women's Union.
