He said that the factory was built just few years ago but it is well known to the country and the popularity of its products and demand for them are daily increasing.

He went round different places of the factory to learn in detail about its production and management.

He was pleased that the factory is producing a large quantity of foodstuff with small manpower and not big area for production.

He praised the factory for producing diverse varieties of foodstuff, turning out packing materials by itself and packing products in a cultured manner by applying advanced technology to it.

The factory is playing an important role not only in the sports field but also in developing the nation's food industry, he noted.

He underscored the need for the factory to put main emphasis on boosting the production of varieties of foodstuff helpful to the care for nutrition of sportspersons and their recovery from fatigue and steadily improving their quality.

He said that the factory should wage a dynamic drive for developing and producing foodstuff including chewing gum which are badly needed by the sportspersons and suited to the constitution of the Koreans, not resting content with the successes already made.

He instructed the factory to thoroughly ensure the hygienic safety of foodstuff by introducing information technology into management activities and putting the production processes on an automated, unmanned, germ-free and dust-free basis at a high level, while keeping the production going at a high rate.

He went round the cultural and welfare facilities and greenhouse of the factory.

Saying that the secret of successes in all work entirely lies in how the officials work, he highly appreciated the merits officials of the field concerned and factory including Ri Jong Ho performed by successfully managing it and doing business with innovative eyes to implement the party's policy.

He expressed belief and conviction that the officials and employees of the factory would play a pace-setter's role in developing the sports and foodstuff industry of the country.
