Han Po Ram, a student of Kim Chaek University of Technology, told KCNA that it is her goal to read more books during the vacation.

The main vacation program of students is to tour revolutionary battle sites and other historic sites, museums, exhibition houses and beauty spots in order to arm themselves with the revolutionary traditions of the Workers' Party of Korea and nourish their national pride and patriotism.

Jong Mi Yong, a student of Pyongyang Secondary School No. 1, said at the Pyongyang Folklore Park:

The visit to Mangyongdae and Jonsung revolutionary sites and Korean Folklore Museum helped me know well about the undying feats of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for the socialist country and deeply feel the honor of being a member of the resourceful Korean nation.

I will study harder to be a reliable worker for the country.

Meanwhile, students and pupils are cultivating their talents at schoolchildren's palaces, youth halls and children's houses across the country.

They are also seen spending time at such sports parks and recreation centers as People's Open-air Ice Rink, Munsu Water Park, Rungna Dolphinarium and Rungna 4-D Simulation Cinema.
