S. Korean Citizen Sentenced to Prison Term for Praising DPRK

| Pyongyang, January 20 (KCNA) -- The Jonju District Court of south Korea sentenced a south Korean citizen to a prison term on Jan. 18 on charges of the violation of the "Security Law" for the mere reason that he praised the DPRK, according to the south Korean Yonhap News. The court charged that he had posted "enemy-benefiting literature" including articles praising the Songun politics of the north on internet and kept relevant data. The SL is holding sway in south Korea, dampening the desire for justice and truth. |
