S. Korean Organization Denounces U.S. for Fanning up Anti-DPRK Leaflet Scattering

Pyongyang, January 21 (KCNA) -- The Taejon Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing June 15 Joint Declaration held a press conference outside the building of the Taejon City Office to denounce the U.S. for manipulating the anti-DPRK leaflets scattering operation from behind the scene.

The organization said in a press release:

Pak Sang Hak, representative of the "Alliance for the Movement of Free North," announced they would send leaflets toward the north in alignment with the U.S. "human rights foundation."

The foundation has conducted the psychological warfare against the north from long ago and, in particular, instigated the organizations of "defectors from the north" in south Korea to scatter leaflets and gave Pak even prize. This is a backstage manipulation, not just support.

What arouses greater concern is that the foundation plans to offer CD and USB containing undesirable films produced by Sony Pictures Entertainment to the "Alliance for the Movement of Free North."

Such acts will only harass peace and human rights, the press release said, adding the U.S. has intentionally disturbed the atmosphere of reconciliation whenever it was created between the south and the north.

The organization urged the U.S. to stop the acts of fanning up the leaflets scattering operation.
