Acts to Stamp out Reunification Movement Unabated in S. Korea
|
|
Pyongyang, January 23 (KCNA) -- There are undesirable moves aimed to stamp out the reunification movement in south Korea at a time when the nation's enthusiasm for independent reunification is running high. The Ministry of Justice recently set forth a plan to push forward a proposal for applying sanctions against "anti-state organizations" and "enemy-benefiting organizations", said the Yonhap News of south Korea. The proposed "revision of the Security Law" is to let the court issue an order of disbanding "anti-state organizations" or "enemy-benefiting organizations" and ban assembly, demonstration and all other activities conducted in the name of those organizations. The south Korean conservative forces are persistently resorting to suppression of the reunification movement, going against the trend of the nation for creating a climate for improving inter-Korean relations. |
