S. Korean Internet Paper Urges Authorities to Stop War Drills against North

Pyongyang, January 26 (KCNA) -- The south Korean internet paper Voice of People on Jan. 22 editorially accused the U.S. and south Korean military bellicose forces of their moves for joint military exercises.

There is no sign of mending the bedeviled south-north relations, the editorial deplored.

Now is the time for the authorities to look into whether their persistent insistence on joint military drills with the U.S. brings any substantial benefit to them, it noted.

There is no reason for the authorities not to take any step for getting substantial benefit from dialogue with the north, it stressed.
