Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Celebrated in Russia

| Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il was formed at the "Jongilbong" Russia-Korea Friendship Association of Ulyanovsk Region on Jan. 21. Aleksandr Kruglikov, chairman of the association, was elected chairman of the committee. The committee set the celebration period from Jan. 21 to Feb. 20 and decided to organize political and cultural events praising the exploits of Kim Jong Il during the period. |
