Koreans in US Demand Probe into Truth about Sewol Disaster

Pyongyang, January 27 (KCNA) -- Koreans in the U.S. held a meeting before the head office of the New York Times on Jan. 18 demanding a probe into the truth about ferry Sewol disaster, according to Minjok Thongsin, the internet paper of Koreans in the U.S.

Speakers said although a special law on the ferry disaster was enacted, there is not slightest sign of moves to probe the truth behind the disaster.

It is painful to note that the members of the special committee for probing the truth about the disaster set up under the special law include a fewer persons keen to probe the truth than those politicians not earnest to do so, they deplored.

They expressed their will to stage unflinching actions for the probe.
