Zabed Ansari, secretary general of the Karachi branch of the Pakistan-Korea Friendship Association, said this at an inaugural ceremony of the national preparatory committee for celebrating leader Kim Jong Il's birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star) held in Karachi, Pakistan on Jan. 21.

Kim Jong Il demonstrated before the whole world the might of Kim Il Sung's Korea with his rare ideological and theoretical wisdom, matchless grit and outstanding strategies and tactics, performing great feats for the development of the DPRK, the secretary general noted.

Senator of Pakistan Amar Jit Malhotra praised Kim Jong Il for working heart and soul to turn the DPRK into a thriving socialist nation.
