The work, published on Jan. 29, Juche 92 (2003), clarifies that the Songun politics of the Workers' Party of Korea correctly reflects the requirements of the times and the revolution as it regards President Kim Il Sung's idea and line of attaching importance to the army and the military affairs as its basis and starting point. It also clarifies that the Songun politics is powerful and dignified politics of independence as it embodies the Juche idea, unique socialist political mode which newly and scientifically elucidated the issue of the driving force of the revolution.

Thanks to the Songun revolutionary line, Songun politics of Kim Jong Il, the political and ideological position of the DPRK has been consolidated as firm as rock and the Korean revolution could win one victory after another despite severe storms of history, the article says, and goes on:

Under the Songun revolutionary leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea the single-minded unity of the revolutionary ranks has been strengthened in every way and the might of the invincible military power is fully demonstrated and miracles and innovations are ceaselessly brought about in the building of a thriving nation.

All the servicepersons and people of the DPRK are now filled with the firm will to be faithful to the party's leadership, bearing in mind the slogan of faith "Let us defend with our very lives the Party Central Committee headed by the great Comrade Kim Jong Un!"

The fighting capability of the Korean People's Army as the first line standard-bearers, driving force of the Songun revolution, is fully displayed not only in national defence but also in socialist construction. This clearly proves the validity and vitality of the Songun revolutionary line of the Workers' Party of Korea.
