Lansana Komara, permanent secretary of the Guinean People's Assembly, and Riyad Chaloub, chairman of the Guinean National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea, said this at an inaugural meeting of a Guinean preparatory committee for celebrating the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star held in Conakry on Jan. 23.

They in their speeches lauded Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for performing undying feats for accomplishing the cause of socialism and the human cause of independence.

Noting that the cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward by supreme leader Kim Jong Un, they expressed conviction that the Korean people led by him would certainly emerge victorious in the confrontation with the U.S. and add shine to the dignity and honor of the country.

They stressed that it is of worldwide great significance to meaningfully celebrate the Day of the Sun and the Day of the Shining Star.
