Pak Jong Song, chairman of the Hokkaido Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, said that Korea's reunification linked with the happiness of the Koreans in Japan who have suffered pain of the national division for 70 years in an alien land.

Pu Yong Uk, chairperson of the Osaka Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, said that now is the time for all Koreans to display their wisdom and energies by getting united in the idea of By Our Nation Itself.

Mun Kwang Hui, chairperson of the Aichi Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, noted that all the officials and compatriots under the headquarters will dynamically advance to defuse the danger of a war and create a peaceful atmosphere on the Korean Peninsula and bringing about a turn in the movement for national reunification through the great national unity.

Ri Thae Hyong, chairman of the Hiroshima Prefectural Headquarters of Chongryon, called for putting an end to the U.S. and south Korean war maniacs' frantic nuclear war drills and boldly paving a new avenue to repairing the north-south relations and achieving peaceful reunification.

Ri Ju Hak, chairman of the Fukuoka Prefectural headquarters of Chongryon, called on the officials and compatriots under the headquarters to wage a dynamic drive for making a breakthrough for national reunification this significant year marking the 15th anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration, the 70th anniversary of national liberation and the 60th anniversary of the formation of Chongryon, in response to the appeal of the joint meeting.
