Sh. Shabdolov, chairman of the Communist Party of Tajikistan, said this in a statement on Jan. 27.

He went on:

He ceaselessly visited units of the Korean People's Army and different fields of the national economy for the security and happiness of the people.

Without taking care of his own health he worked day and night for the country and the people.

He was, indeed, a tender-hearted father who regarded it as the greatest happiness to devote himself to the people.

It is natural that the Korean people are highly praising him, longing for him.

Although he passed away, the feats performed by him for the country and the people will be immortal.
