Message of Sympathy to Egyptian President

Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK, sent a message of sympathy to Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, president of the Arab Republic of Egypt, on Sunday as regards a terrorist attack in northern Sinai, Egypt which caused many casualties.

The message expressed deep sympathy to the president, the people and bereaved families of Egypt.

Bitterly denouncing the terrorist attack as a base act of disturbing socio-political stability and national unity of Egypt, the message wished the president and the people of Egypt successes in their efforts to overcome sorrow and put the situation under control at an early date.
