DPRK Acrobatics Acclaimed at Monte Carlo

Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- The physical acrobatics "Flying on the Twin Swing" and "Balancing Etude" presented by the DPRK National Circus won gold prizes at the 39th Monte Carlo International Circus Festival held in Monaco from Jan. 15 to 18.

The "Flying on the Twin Swing" with eight male and female acrobats involved includes such movements of high techniques as 15-meter flying, and double and treble somersaults.

The "Balancing Etude" is a fascinating combination of ballet, plastic acrobatics and balancing stunts on the ground and in the air.

Those physical acrobatics were awarded Gold Lion Prize at the 12th Wuqiao International Acrobatics Festival in Juche 98 (2009).
