Kim Jong Il's Birth Anniversary to Be Marked in Hungary

| Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- A Hungarian preparatory committee for marking leader Kim Jong Il's birth anniversary (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Budapest on January 29. Gyula Thurmer, chairman of the Hungarian Workers' Party, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee set the celebration period from January 29 to February 18 and decided to organize events to praise the sacred revolutionary career and immortal exploits of Kim Jong Il in the capital and local areas in the period. |
