U.S. and S. Korean Authorities Accused of Pulling up DPRK over Its Nukes for Self-Defence
Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- The U.S. is crying out for "the north's dismantlement of nukes" in a bid to create impression that the situation on the Korean Peninsula and in other parts of Northeast Asia remains unstable due to the DPRK's nuclear deterrence whenever an opportunity presents itself.

The south Korean authorities never miss a chance to talk rubbish that the building of "a world without nuclear weapons" should begin with the "north's dismantlement of its nukes" and "the north is urged to make a bold strategic decision to abandon its nukes."

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in an article in this regard:

It is brazen-faced, indeed, for the U.S. and the south Korean authorities to malignantly pull up the DPRK over its nuclear deterrent for self-defence.

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities' claim that peace can be ensured and tension be defused only when the DPRK dismantles its nukes is no more than profound confusing of right and wrong.

Citing facts to prove that the nuclear issue of the Korean peninsula was spawned by the evermore desperate racket of the U.S. and its lackeys the south Korean authorities to provoke a nuclear war, the article goes on:

The U.S. and the south Korean authorities can neither conceal their true colors as the very ones that spawned the nuclear issue and seriously harassed peace and security on the Korean peninsula and in other parts of Northeast Asia by posing a nuclear threat to the DPRK nor evade their responsibility for doing so.

It is the consistent stand of the DPRK to bolster up in every way its nuclear deterrence for self-defence to cope with the evermore desperate moves of the hostile forces for aggression.

In order to find a fundamental solution to the nuclear issue on the peninsula, it is necessary to put an end to the U.S. and the south Korean war maniacs' nuclear blackmail and threat and defuse the danger of a war against the DPRK, first of all. The U.S. and the south Korean authorities should face up to the reality with a cool head.
