S. Korean Lawmaker Accused of Shielding Sexual Abuses
Pyongyang, February 3 (KCNA) -- South Korean Kyunghyang Daily News carried an editorial denouncing a lawmaker from the "Saenuri Party" for his shameless remarks shielding sexual abuses rampant within the south Korean army.

As regards the recent case of an army brigade commander who sexually assaulted a service woman under his command, Song Yong Gun, a lawmaker from the "Saenuri Party", patronized the former, terming the case a problem caused by the lack of chances to stop out, the editorial noted, adding:

This is very stunning sophism that can never be pardoned.

Not content with covering up and defending the sexual abuses in the army, the lawmaker revealed his mean idea through his reckless remarks. They are not utterances of an individual but reflected the common view of the military.

Sexual abusers should be strictly punished.

The editorial urged Song to make an apology before the people for his reckless remarks, in stead of making lame excuses.
