The meeting discussed the tasks of the women's union organizations to devotedly carry out the tasks set forth by Marshal Kim Jong Un in his New Year address.

Kim Jong Sun, chairwoman of the Central Committee of the union, made a report to be followed by speeches.

They called on the women's union organizations at various levels to dynamically conduct organizational and political work and a mass movement to uphold the Songun revolutionary leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea with loyalty.

They called on officials of the women's union to do its work in a revolutionary and unique manner and make redoubled efforts in the van of the masses.

They underscored the need to devotedly carry out the tasks set forth in the New Year address, rallied close around Kim Jong Un, bring about a fundamental turn in the work of the union and thus glorify this significant year as a year of great victory and great revolutionary and auspicious event.
