Release of Progressive Activist Urged in S. Korea

| Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Measure Committee for Release of Hwang Son and Her Reinstatement held a press conference on January 29 in denunciation of the authorities' suppression of a progressive activist, according to the south Korean internet newspaper Jaju Minbo. It demanded the authorities stop the racket for "eliminating followers of the north" and the "witch hunt" and guarantee the freedom of expression. It said that it would stage various forms of actions for releasing Hwang. |
