At the 40th National Schoolchildren's Sports Contest for Jongilbong Prize in 2014, the school finished first in men's table-tennis team event and took the first, second and third places in men's individual table-tennis event. The results made it a 10-time winner in national schoolchildren's contests.

It won gold medals in national table-tennis tournaments for four consecutive years from 2006 to 2009.

The school has taken the men's table-tennis title at the National Schoolchildren's Sports Contest for Jongilbong Prize each year from 2010. In 2012 it won the women's table-tennis title at the 18th National Schoolchildren's Festival of Loyalty.

The school's table-tennis level came under spotlight of the experts at the Junior Championships held last year.

Such successes are attributable to the painstaking efforts made by the school's sports teachers.
