Section Doctor System Taking Effective

Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) -- Medical workers in charge of families in Pyongyang are enhancing their role in medical service, true to the New Year address given by supreme leader Kim Jong Un, in which he called for improving preventive and curative medical care.

Among them are those at the Ryonhwa Polyclinic in Central District and Chongryu Polyclinic in Taedonggang District who are paying special attention to having consultation with the old, children and women and rendering medical services to them on a regular basis.

They are conducting sanitary agitation in residential quarters every early morning, while taking necessary measures in advance.

The section doctor system has been enforced from the 1960s in the DPRK, as part of the free medical services.
