Jalilla el Fersi, secretary general of the Tunisia-Korea Friendship Association, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee.

It decided to hold political and cultural events to praise the noble revolutionary career and undying feats of Kim Jong Il on the occasion of his birth anniversary.
