The joint statement said:

Human scum in south Korea conducted anti-DPRK leaflet scattering operation with the backstage manipulation of the U.S. and at the connivance of the south Korean authorities. This is extremely provocative and reckless one as the operation was made at a time when the DPRK is making sincere efforts to defuse the tension, improve the north-south relations and create the atmosphere for reunification.

Even south Korean people strongly demand the immediate halt to the leaflet scattering.

"Freedom of expression" much touted by the south Korean authorities should not be a pretext dividing a nation.

Plot-breeders of the U.S. were involved in the leaflet scattering.

This goes to prove that the U.S. is the chieftain blocking the struggle of the Korean people for peace and reunification of the Korean peninsula.

Lurking behind this is the sinister intention of the U.S. to ignite another Korean war through such plots and use south Korean people as cannon fodder in the war.

The plot-breeders of the U.S. "human rights foundation" should go home at once, clearly understanding that their acts spoil the atmosphere of dialogue.
