Kim Jong Suk visited more than 320 units of the Korean People's Army till the last moments of her life after the country's liberation and gave teachings over 420 occasions in order to make sure that the Korean revolutionary armed forces honorably fulfilled its most important mission as the army of the leader, the party and the people which carried forward the brilliant traditions of the anti-Japanese struggle.

She visited Pyongyang Institute more than 30 times and left her sacred footprints in schools and training centers at all levels including the Central Security Officers School.

She participated in the ceremony of opening Pyongyang Institute accompanying President Kim Il Sung on Feb. 23, Juche 35 (1946). She told the officials of the institute that it is the one of the President which brings up the national cadres of new Korea, stressing all education should be conducted with the President's revolutionary idea as guidelines.

She paid deep attention to establishing Juche in the building of the regular army in conformity with the intention of the President.

On the day of the opening of the institute, talking to officials of the institute, she stressed that the military education should not mechanically follow the style of other country but be conducted our own style as was done in the period of the anti-Japanese armed struggle.

Kim Jong Suk made great efforts to build the modern regular army equipped with all services and arms, true to the President's line of founding the army.

The KPA parade took place with splendor in Pyongyang on Feb. 8, 1948, proclaiming the birth of the regular revolutionary armed forces with the attendance of the President.

Kim Jong Suk, watching the columns of the parade marching past the platform in fine array, said that the KPA should become the army of the President forever.

The KPA could demonstrate its might as the powerful Paektusan revolutionary army century after century and dynamically advance the revolutionary cause of Juche, thanks to the historical Feb. 8 which was brought about by the outstanding foresightedness of the brilliant commanders of Mt. Paektu and their immortal feats for building the army.
