The performance began with chorus "Song of the Korean People's Army" and female solo and chorus "Cantata to Marshal Kim Il Sung". Put on the stage were colorful numbers praising President Kim Il Sung for setting a brilliant example in building the revolutionary armed forces in the era of independence.

The performers presented colorful numbers reflecting the heroic feats of the KPA which reliably defended the dignity of the DPRK and the gains of socialism under his leadership.

Poem and song "The Country I Am Defending" and other numbers touched a chord with the audience as the numbers made them recollect the history of the Songun revolutionary activities of leader Kim Jong Il.

Also put on the stage were choruses "Forward to the Final Victory" and "We Will Defend General Kim Jong Un at the Cost of Our Lives".

Among the audience were Ri Myong Gil, chairman of the C.C., the Union of Agricultural Workers of Korea, officials concerned and agricultural workers in Sunchon City.
