At the observation post Kim Jong Un learned about the tactical and engineering data of newly-developed anti-ship rocket before watching its test-firing.

As the head of the East Sea Fleet ordered the test-firing, the ultra-precision anti-ship rocket blasted off from a rocket boat. The intelligent rocket precisely sought, tracked and hit the "enemy" ship after taking a safe flight.

The test-firing proved in a scientific way that the powers of rocket boat and the anti-ship rocket's rate of hits reached the level of designed tactical and engineering data.

The new-type anti-ship rocket to be deployed for action at naval units of KPA before long made it possible to bring a great change in the navy's defence of territorial waters and strongly react to any attempt of the enemy's fleets of warships for military attack, through contact combat or non-contact combat.

Expressing his satisfaction over the fact that all sorts of rockets being developed and produced by the DPRK are of the highest level able to totally contain the enemies, the Supreme Commander said that the perfect development of the rocket capable of striking any enemy fleet of battleships at will from a long distance clearly showed again the validity of the WPK's policy of making the military equipment intelligent on an ultramodern level.

Then he set forth new tasks facing the field of national defence science and technology, expressing belief that more tactical guided weapons of high precision and intelligence, which help seize the initiative in any operation and combat of modern warfare, would be produced on the basis of the success and experience gained in the test-firing.
