Day of Shining Star to Be Marked in Germany

| Pyongyang, February 7 (KCNA) -- A preparatory committee for celebrating the birth anniversary of leader Kim Jong Il (the Day of the Shining Star) was formed in Germany on February 2. Torsten Schoevitz, chairman of the Communist Party of Germany, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize political and cultural events to praise the immortal exploits performed by Kim Jong Il before the human cause of independence in the period between February 2 and 16. |
