The Nigerian president in the message said he was pleased to extend the warm congratulations to Kim Jong Un on behalf of himself and the government and people of Nigeria on the occasion of the Day of the Shining Star (February 16), birth anniversary of HE Generalissimo Kim Jong Il.

He said he was satisfied with the fact that the two countries are boosting cooperation with common view at the international arena while continuously expanding and developing the mutual relations.

He hoped that lasting peace will settle on the Korean peninsula through dialogue and negotiations between the north and the south.
