The exhibits, presented by the Chollima Tile Factory, the Pyongyang Building-materials Factory and other factories, are made with locally available raw materials and technologies.

They include tiles and products of metal, stone, plastic and wood as well as LED lamps, waterproof liquids, detergents and epoxy resin paints.

The building materials were used in the construction of apartment houses for educators of Kim Il Sung University and Kim Chaek University of Technology, Masikryong Ski Resort, the May Day Stadium, Unha Scientists Street and other edifices.

Kim Hyon Chol, curator of the Heavy Industry Hall, told KCNA that the exhibition gives a glimpse of the nation's architectural development.
