Present there were Kim Ki Nam, Hyon Yong Chol, Kwak Pom Gi, Vice Premiers Kim Yong Jin and Ri Chol Man, officials of the party and armed forces bodies, working people's organizations, ministries and national institutions, persons of merit, service personnel of the Korean People's Army and other people.

Kim Ki Nam, member of the Political Bureau and secretary of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, in a speech expressed the will to unconditionally and devotedly implement to the letter the idea and behests of Kim Jong Il without an inch of deflection and without a step of concession, holding him in high esteem as the eternal general secretary of the WPK.

He also reiterated the will to carry forward to the last the history of comradeship, the history of single-minded unity which started in Mt. Paektu, absolutely trusting and following Kim Jong Un, the destiny of the country and banner of eternal victory, with the revolutionary faith to be cherished till one may die.

Army General Hyon Yong Chol, minister of the People's Armed Forces, said that the KPA would hold Kim Jong Il as the sun of Songun of Juche forever in high esteem and firmly defend and glorify for all ages the undying feats he performed in army building, regarding his birthplace at the Paektusan Secret Camp as a spiritual mainstay at all times.

The KPA equipped with the arms of revolution given by the party and the country and the arms provided by the working class will wipe out the enemies like the blizzards of Mt. Paektu once an order is issued and thus lead the fireworks displayed in the sky above Jong Il Peak to the fireworks celebrating the final victory of the Kim Jong Un's powerful Paektusan nation, he noted.

Jon Yong Nam, chairman of the Central Committee of the Kim Il Sung Socialist Youth League, said that the youth will eternally glorify the noble revolutionary career and feats of Kim Jong Il, the great image of the powerful Paektusan nation, holding him as the eternal leader in high esteem, as befitting the successors to the revolutionary cause of Juche which started in Mt. Paektu.

Then fireworks were displayed in the sky above the holy land of revolution.

The hearts of the participants looking up to endless display of fireworks were filled with the revolutionary enthusiasm to remain loyal to the revolutionary cause of Juche with the revolutionary faith pulsating with the breath of Mt. Paektu and deeply rooted like the ranges of Mt. Paektu.
