Kim Jong Il was born as a son of the guerrillas and grew up to be a great revolutionary while hardening his pledge to glorify Korea.

He defended socialism and turned Korea into a political and ideological power in which all people are united in single mind, a military power and a nuclear weapons state with his unique Songun politics.

Thanks to his tireless Songun revolutionary leadership, Korea's military muscle has been augmented in every way.

Changes taking place in Korea are a clear proof of the validity and vitality of the Songun politics.

The paper said that President Kim Il Sung provided the historical roots of the Songun politics.

Konkurent No. 3 in an article titled "Undying feats of guardian of peace" said:

Kim Jong Il was a reliable defender of peace and security of the Korean peninsula which was directly related to the destiny of humankind.

Under his leadership the Korean People's Army has grown to be invincible revolutionary armed forces.

He foiled the U.S. military provocation moves with his outstanding spirit and faith.

His feats for defending world peace are cherished in the hearts of mankind.

Rio Panorama on Feb. 4 noted that Kim Jong Il energetically worked day and night, regarding it as his biggest happiness and joy to devote himself to the people.
