The letter paid the highest tribute to Kim Jong Il and extended the greatest glory to Kim Jong Un who is leading to victory the Juche cause and the patriotic cause of Chongryon pioneered and led by the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il on the occasion of the significant Day of the Shining Star, in reflection of the intense loyalty of all officials of Chongryon and Koreans in Japan.

General Kim Jong Il, the greatest man possessed of matchless political statesmanship and leadership trait and utmost sincerity, defended and glorified the socialist homeland by dedicating himself all his life and laid an eternal cornerstone for building a rich and powerful nation by taking the road of patriotic devotion to the country and its people till the last moments of his revolutionary life, it noted.

He was the warm sun of the Koreans in Japan as he clearly indicated the way to be followed by Chongryon and Koreans in Japan with his gifted wisdom and far-sightedness and took warm care of them as their real father would do, it said.
