They were held by the Polish Communist Party, the Federal Republic of Germany-DPRK Association, the Syrian Trade Unions Federation, the Vietnam-DPRK Friendship Association, an Ethiopian enterprise and the Ethiopian Gabriel Hospital between February 8 and 11.

The chairman of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw Regional Committee of the Polish Communist Party and other speakers praised Kim Jong Il for developing and enriching the Juche idea as the guiding idea in the era of independence, smashing the moves of the imperialist allied forces to stifle the DPRK with his Songun politics and setting a shining example in the socialist construction.

The chairman of the Federal Republic of Germany-DPRK Association said that Kim Jong Il firmly consolidated the defence capacity and defended socialism of the DPRK, holding aloft the banner of Songun in the most difficult period.

The president of the Syrian Trade Unions Federation said that the Syrian people would always remember the invariable support and encouragement sent by Kim Jong Il to the just cause of the Arab people.

The manager of an Ethiopian enterprise praised Kim Jong Il for turning the DPRK into a political, ideological and military power through his energetic field guidance.

The vice director of the Ethiopian Gabriel Hospital said that Kim Jong Il vigorously advanced the socialist cause under the unfurled banner of Songun when the U.S. imperialists and their following forces were trumpeting about the "complete end of socialism", adding his exploits will shine forever.
